Poolia are proud to be supporting Princess Alice Hospice as our chosen charity for 2012.
Princess Alice Hospice is a charity that provides all the patient care and support free of charge. They provide outstanding end of life care to adult patients and the support to their families and friends across a large part of Surrey, South West London and Middlesex. The nurses are there for the patients to relieve pain and control their patient’s symptoms with high quality nursing. Even in the last stages of illness they aim to give all patients the best possible quality of live. Through the education and research activities they also work to improve end of life care across the UK.
Fundraising and community support are crucially important for them to continue their work as a charity and following the invaluable help which they provided to one of Poolia’s former employees and her family we are pleased to be able to support them so their work can grow and continue.
